ADULT dogS

Daphne and Shep below are not fixed as we are waiting on our provider to have discounted appointments available. We do not know when an appointment will become available

If you wish to adopt one of them now, they will need to be fixed by another provider and the fee for the procedure will be added to the adoption fee. Call the Shelter at 715-627-4333 and our Manager Theresa will discuss the fee with you.

 Daphne

How do you spell sweetheart? DAPHNE.

"Daffy" is approximately a two-year-old Lab mix. She is as sweet as can be. She walks nicely on her leash and has very good  manners.  She does love her belly rubs  too.

She seems to get along well with other dogs but if you do have another canine, we will require a meet and greet. We have not tested her with children or cats.

But she loves adults and is just waiting for the right ones to come and visit her!.

Shep

Shep is, as you might have guessed, part Shephard, though we are not sure what else.

He is young and full of energy. A home with a yard, while not an absolute requirement, would be great. A fence would also be a great idea.

He would certainly welcome it if his new owner loves to walk or jog. He does need to burn off energy every day.

He does need to be the love of your life, at least in terms of children and other pets; in other words, he needs a home with no children or other pets.

We are working with him on his leash manners. He so likes to play with his leash that he gets distracted but he is getting better with the help of staff members and volunteers who are working with him to correct this.

Shep will be a great addition to the right home!

Help us provide long lives, full of love, to these animals.
