Maybe you are no longer able to give your dog or cat the level of care it deserves. Maybe you have moved and your new lease won't allow pets. Maybe it is just best if you let your animal find a fur-ever home.
Whatever the reason, you make the right decision when you surrender your cat or dog to the Langlade County Humane Society. We will make sure to find your animal a safe and loving home.
But until we do, we will need to provide it with medical care, vaccines, and a microchip as well as spay or neuter it if it has not already been done. In addition, we need to feed and care for the animal every day. This costs the Shelter many thousands of dollars each year.
As a privately funded non-profit no-kill animal shelter, we rescue and re-home almost 700 animals every year. When you surrender your animal to us, it will not be killed - it will be adopted to a safe and loving home.
Surrender Fee
To pay for a small share of our costs, we require a small surrender fee.
It is one final act of love you can do for your cat and dog.
Verified Vaccinated and Spayed/Neutered: $25.00.
No Proof of Vaccinations or Spay/Neuter: $45.00.
Litter of kittens or puppies: $25.00 and up depending on the size of the litter.
Help us provide long lives, full of love, to these animals.
